It’s one of my favorite times of the planner fam year…. Erin Condren has just released their Academic Planner! This year’s release date is earlier than ever, which is extra special since it overlaps with two days of their annual Warehuse Sale! If you’re needing to order your planner, you can pick up tote bags, pens, markers, and a customized lunch box at steep discounts.

No matter which other planner I might be using, the Academic Planner (AP) always folds nicely into the rotation. I’ve found great ways to use it to split up plans for each of my (too many to count) classes, sketching out content across platforms, and some light memory planning as part of my bedtime routine.

The EC AP is a great value horizontal planner maintaining the fun-to-use 80 lb paper we know and love from Erin Condren but with handy extras geared towards students and helpful for all. This year they kept the great offerings of the coiled 7”x9” and A5 softbound options.

The most exciting update is the theme options to pick from! Colorblends and Star Wars are here to stay, thankfully! Colorful Cosmos and Focused themes were added to the lineup for spiral Academic Planners. You’ll still have a choice between platinum, gold, and rose gold colors for the coil. Just like all EC products, there are plenty of options with interchangeable covers including Star Wars, Etta Vee, and other fan favorites. Notably, there are AT LEAST 10 options to choose from if a vegan leather cover is more your style.

Love the setup of the AP but find all the color distracting? Or want to add more of your own style with stickers and photos? The Focused interior layout is a great option for you. It includes the same features with a cleaner weekly, monthly, and dashboard layout.

Having the APs out earlier than ever this year means even more time to set up your new planner & get hype for the new school year or your next adventure! With 12-month options starting in July 2023, August 2023, September 2023, and January 2024, you’ll definitely have an option that works for your schedule.

Pro tip: you can add 40 lined pages for $5 to any spiral academic planner - I like to use these for planning trips, planning a year ahead, taking notes on the go.
